The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program educates people about disaster preparedness. Help your community following an emergency event.

Miami-Dade CERT Training – Free Disaster Preparedness Course

The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. Using the training learned in the classroom and during CERT exercises, members can assist their community or workplace following an emergency event when professional responders are not immediately available to help. This free training includes an online lecture portion followed by an in-person, hands-on, practical portion.

There are 4 HYBRID classes coming up for NEW CERT members –

As a hybrid, anyone interested will need to complete Phase 1 which is the ONLINE part and it must be completed in order to attend the in-person training (Phase 2). https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdQV6aDT0wqAa_IFNqkXrImqxH49kDCCOlfYOvuzmuo6DRMkw/viewform
