No School One Day Camp at Highland Oaks Park 9/30/19

On Monday, September 30th there is no school in Miami Dade and Broward County. Highland Oaks Park will be hosting a One Day Camp from 8 am to 6 pm. Children must bring lunch and snacks with them. A schedule of activities will be available on site.

There is a one-time registration fee of $15 for non-afterschool participants. The One Day Camp fee is just $15 for the 1st child and $13.50 for each additional child. For more information, please contact Devin Davis, Park Manager for Highland Oaks Park at (305) 932-2164.

BIRD WALK at Highland Oaks Park – Sunday Sept 22nd

It’s songbird migration time! Highland Oaks Park is in the top ten Audubon birding sites in North Miami Dade County. More than 150 species make their home or migrate through the park.

Join us with experienced Audubon ornithologist Smith as we view dozens of beautiful and rare songbirds and waterfowl. This Sunday at 8 am, meet at Highland Oaks Park Community Center.

HOA General Membership Meeting September 18, 2019

The Skylake Highland Lakes Area HOA will be holding a general membership meeting on Wednesday, September 18th at Highland Oaks Park building at 7 PM.

This is your chance to hear from Miami Dade Police, Kent Security, Miami Dade Code Enforcement as well as elected officials and staff members from local and state government including Commissioner Heyman, State Rep. Watson, State Sen. Pizzo, and School Board Representative Dr. Martin Karp.

We will also have Sue Torano from the Miami Dade County Special Assessment District on hand to answer questions. Applications for gate passes will also be available for those in need.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the meeting.
